I was trying to overclock my radeon in Windows 2000
and got this error "setclk_open() failed" and it
wouldn't let me overclock it...

    Hey guys,

I had the same problem and I have to admit I was as
confused as you are (I still am), I have a solution though!
    Just use powerstrip, I have a Radeon 9000 w win2k (I posted
above) and when I decided to go back and try Powerstrip
again it worked (v.3.30). Right now I'm running @ 300MHz
    GPU/ 230MHz RAM. (stock is 250/200)
I strongly advise putting a 50mm fan on the GPU if you
overclock (or even if you don't) it gets way too hot. if you are
interested in more info let me know.
