when typing a map command, a list of all availabale maps is displayed. this is a very neat feature and it would be cool to make the same for playdemo to. also, separate folders for demos would be nice to
Are you on 0.90.1 (version is displayed in the lower-right corner of the console)?
For my example above, I left out the step which saves the demo, so it should actually be:
"record xyz"
"stop"
then "playdemo <tab>"
But if that still doesn't work then it sounds like a bug.
Could I get your OS version, path where quake is installed, path to Quakespasm.exe?

"playdemo" and "record" already have autocompletion as of 0.90.1.
Try "record xyz" then "playdemo <tab>".
However, they don't list the demos included in id1/pak0.pak (e.g. demo1.dem.)
