interesting - I'm using kxstudio but I'm not sure exactly which version of the plugin (no access to the machine right now). I'll look and post it here. A rogue plugin shouldn't be able to crash qtractor though, presumably?

in an ideal world a plugin wouldn't be able to crash its host; in an ideal design each plugin would run in its own process and address-space: if it crashes it crashes alone.
sorry to tell we don't live in an ideal world :)
cheers

not quite that /reliability/ to reproduce :)
however i seem to be using an old version of drmr.lv2, as the GUI that's shows here is quite different from yours (screenshot on attach)
and it doesn't crash on close, maybe because it can't have a drum kit unselected?
