Hi,

I'm afraid I’m running into another controller problem.

  1. I have this session AutoManea.qtr (in the archive attached). I’ve bound 7 midi controllers to its first 7 input bus faders. There are controllers for other things too.
  2. Next I add a new audio track
  3. The fader controllers are gone :-( AutoManea_2.qtr reflects the state of the session right after adding the new track. My controllers, which control plugin parameters, seem unaffected.

Is there a workaround for this?

Blue skies,
Victor

    confirmed

    and it's terrible: adding any new tracks will make MIDI controllers assignments on all existing tracks to vanish and, yeah, only on the track faders subjects (ie. volume and panning). plugins seem to be alright.

    i went a little deeper and got this bummer creeping since back old v0.6.0 which makes it more than 2 years in the lurking.

    i'm also afraid that one can't do nothing to workaround this, besides not adding any new tracks once MIDI controllers are set.

    as usual i'll try to get rid of this one asap.

    cheers && thanks.

    might have fixed it on git head master [712059] aka qtractor v0.7.8.18+

    please test && tell.
    cheers

    Brilliant! Works like a charm. Quite a few edits in that commit I see. Thanks a lot! It’s very useful for me.

    All the best,
    Victor
