[Qtractor-devel] Feature request: Highlight keyboard when hovering in pianoroll grid

Hi list *resurfacing from summer mode*,

now that days are slowly getting colder and nights longer (at least in the
northern hemisphere), I find a little more time for my non-outdoor hobbies.
Judging from the number of subversion commits, looks like Rui has not really
given himself a summer break at all (which is somewhat great :-).

I have a small feature request for Qtractor: I noticed that whenever I am
editing notes in the piano roll editor, I would like to see the tiny
vertical keyboard on the very left side to "shadow" the position the mouse
is hovering over (by highlighting the respective key or whatever).
As soon as I click&drag a note, its position *is* indicated there, but not
*before* I start placing or picking up a note.
Is that a feasible request? Although the entire note grid does already
contain the slight gray levels for semitones, I admit I cannot really make
much use of that - my eyes always get dragged to the left since they "expect"
some indication of the note *there*.
