do you guys know how to write soundfonts? if you do can you write tutorials?
Also, can you write tutorials on every aspect of qsynth so that I may develop some aspects of it, especially regarding interfacing with jackd and seq24 and running multiple instances of qsynth at the same time?
I would love to help if i can
thanks
if you know how to write soundfonts too theres a few drum synths that would rock to have on the computer like the march uds, lell uds, and rokton uds, they all rock
but yeah tutorials on this stuff would be epic
and multiple soundfonts at the same time would be so awesome, and im fully willing to help if you guys want.

you're welcome
as to writing soundfonts (sf2), on linux that is, there's http://www.swamiproject.org/ and maybe recently http://www.polyphone.fr/ .
as for multiple soundfonts you don't need anything else than a single instance of qsynth running, there you can have several, more than one (fluid)synth engines, each with its own stack of soundfonts.
hth.
cheers
cool many thanks
I will keep designing. I see that feature now!
