Please do show diagram of state machine first, after other related items.
See attachment. I have a very complex state machine with many attributes and operations.
After closing the diagramm it is hard to get the icon, which is at the very end of the list :-(

Chaning of item order to push Statechart first in the list would have large impact on the existing models, because the model is stored in the order of the items.
However, the intent of this request can be much easier implemented by providing additional pop-up menu item "Show diagram" for class items that have a Statechart. Additionally, the Default Action for a class item with a Statechart will be to display this diagram. In other words, double-click on a class with a Statechart will open that statechart diagram and additionally it will expand the item.
I attach a screen shot wih the "Show diagram" pop-up menu for class item already implemented.

I do understand your solution. Fine!
Does "already implemented" mean, already in your version, which is a version higher than QM 4.3.1? Because, I do not find this in the current version, see attachement.
The feature is going into the next upcoming QM release (4.3.2). The screeen shot attached previously shows how it will look.

Implemented in QM 4.5.0.
