Okay everyone, I posted this on Friday and had gotten a few people saying I was being to broad. Sorry everyone.. here it is in more detail. Any help would be apperciated! Qmail works perfect, we have it currently handleing our mail for a whole website and haven't had any problems yet. Anyways, yes I did the patch for Qmailqueue. I believe that Qmail is not passing the email off to qmail-scanner for any mail recieved. Like I said, if I run ./contrib/test_installation.sh it passes the email off and marks the spam adds the appropriate headers, ect... What we have qmail doing is passing the email off to Javamail (I'm not sure on that program or how it even works our CEO set that up) witch parses it and puts it in the right fromat for our web email to parse etc. Oh sorry its just passed via smptroutes, so its not a program being called by qmail. okay.. back to the problem. So our server is getting email and just sending it straight to Javamail. Its not being processed by qmail-scanner. I think that because(correct me if I'm wrong), when qmail-scanner is run if the log file doesn't exist then it recreates it right? Well, I'll delete that log file and it won't recreate it. We have plenty of mail going through our server at basicly all times so I know we're receiving email. First thoughts as to why it wasn't working was tcp.smtp was setup wrong. After trying to send mail with qmail-inject "echo subject: Teste |qmail-inject your@mail.here" qmail-scanner still wasn't parsing it. I'm at a lose here. Any Ideas? -Rick quepasa.com :: free email, now with 10mb of space. |
