Is there a way to get those messages scanned and moving again? Do you mean "stuck" as in they aren't moving and the CPU and disk usage is zero? It's possible that they've been deferred for some reason (server overload?) and they won't get processed again for a certain period. The only time I've seen this happen was with a server running Amavis that started core dumping on a particular message. I can't see any way that the two would be related, except that a bug in qmail-scanner could cause it to defer a message forever as well. >>-----Original Message----- >>From: qma...@li... >>[mailto:qma...@li...]On Behalf Of >>Benjamin Tomhave >>Sent: Tuesday, May 20, 2003 10:19 AM >>To: qma...@li... >>Subject: [Qmail-scanner-general]performance problem? tweaking? >> >> >>Hello, >> >>First off, I tried searching the list archives through SF and it >>failed.
