When I get out of qjackctl from the terminal its started from with ctrl-c (I know its rude) jackdbus will remain and can then only be killed -9. Probably a signal handler should be installed that will make ctrl-c follow the usual shutdown procedure?
I would guess this behavior is intended. Even if you exit normally from Qjackctl jackdbus process will still be running
