As you might know, qjackctl is a work in progress, mainly driven by the

How could I forget this. Sincerely, it was one of the earliest motives to
write qjackctl, of giving some way to do preset/session management in a
JACK system. Nevertheless, there's plenty to be done, and suggestions are
certainly welcome.

Therefore, seems a very reasonable good idea :) On my own thinking this
multiple preset/profile option would have it's editing and selection
interface primarly on the setup dialog. Then, if generally agreed it could
be inserted on the main control/display window.

I guess only the 'Settings' tab values that relate directly to the jackd
comand line arguments, are to be profiled/preset at a first glance.
