Am exploring move from Lubuntu to Q4OS, also changing from Opera mailer to IceDove but wish to retain Opera34 as default browser. But clicking on an email link in IceDove opens it in Qupzilla, not Opera despite Opera internally being set as default browser. Finding no options, whether in Qupzilla, Konqueror or Q4OS Welcome screen to enforce choice.

Did you try 'sudo update-alternatives --config x-www-browser' command ?
