I just downloaded the .iso for the live version of Q4OS. Wonderful -- finally, a live version.
I try to install Q4OS by clicking on the icon on the homescreen. I get all the way through to where file copy should begin and I get a message that there's a problem with the installation medium, probably caused by creating the DVD by using a program not compatible with Q4OS.
I used Brasero in a Linux Mint environment. What's the problem here? Should I just burn another DVD and see what happens? Has anyone else encountered this problem? In the past, Q4OS has installed just fine on this box.
Thanks.

I suggest you should burn with k3b it's accuaracy for success burning.
I always broke CD from xfburn & brasero so don't mess with this 2.
I never failed burning CD on my laptop with k3b at all.

Just updating my post. I reburned the .iso using xfburn instead of Brasero. Same problem.

There was a bug in live installer, it's fixed now. Please download the new image q4os-live-1.2.7.1 from our website.
