Known issue. Builtin 'kmenuedit' tool is not compatible with Q4OS menu structure due to incompatibility with freedesktop standards, unfortunately. We need to update kmenuedit codebase, we are working on.

Hi
I have been trying to edit the menu in q4os using the built in menu
editor which I used all the time back in the KDE3 days.
After making a change I hit save, it shows the configuration update
progress bar but the change itself doesn't show up.
If I run kmenuedit as sudo it shows a slightly different menu structure
so that doesn't seem to be the way to do this.
Any thoughts please?
