    I have noticed that unattended upgrade is trying to install upgrades for sudo-trinity and libartsc0-trinity on a daily basis.

    In Synaptic these show the same version for available and installed, but the package is shown as status star - upgrade available.

    I have removed and installed both packages using sudo dpkg -r --force-depends pkgname and sudo apt-get install pkgname.

    This has not made any difference.

    Any ideas please?

    We are not able to reproduce, please run commads in terminal and list output here to analyze:
    $ sudo dpkg --configure -a
    $ sudo apt-get install -f
    $ sudo apt-get update
    $ sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
    $ sudo apt-get check
    $ sudo dpkg --audit
    $ qrepolist

    Yes, you can safely force to install packages from (q4os-1-0-st). We could do more to analyze, try this to show packages origin, post output here:
    $ sudo apt-get check
    $ sudo apt-get autoremove
    $ sudo apt-get --dry-run dist-upgrade

    sudo apt-get --dry-run dist-upgrade

    OK - I see what the problem was. I had the worng packages in the pkg cache, but the file names are the same so the upgrade was not downloading the correct version. I think what may have happened was that I was using the Trinity repo temporarily to re-install the kcontrol centre (tree version) and pulled in the wrong versions of teh 2 packages in error. Deleted files from cache and re-ran upgrade - now all OK. Thanks very much for the assist.
