Hej all, I also had another meeting and did not see the mail early enough, sorry. But I thought we have the calls on the third Wednesday each month. So, is it the 2nd or 3rd for future calls and my schedule? Hi all, Sorry I missed the call yesterday, I had a clash with another meeting. Got a quick question - I have 10 or so new metrics I'd like added to the CV. Should I add each one as an individual issue on the GitHub or should I add them as a whole so you can see them in context of each other? Thanks! Hi, All. Mathias mentioned in the minutes that I would volunteer a data set in which a few outlier experiments are apparent. You can find them here: http://proteomecentral.proteomexchange.org/cgi/GetDataset?ID=PXD006843. We published these in a protegenomic assessment of clinical tuberculosis isolates (https://doi.org/10.1021/acs.jproteome.7b00483). Hello! I would please like to request the addition of new metrics to mzQC cv and have filled out the relevant form. You will see that many of the metrics overlap with QuaMeter ID-Free, but the N-value differs. For example, where QuaMeter ID-Free may have reported a metric in quartiles, I might now report them in user specified sections/ one value for the entire run. Please feel free to contact me about anything I may not have explained clearly enough/ done incorrectly. Happy new year everyone, and thanks Wout for the notification, I hope you all had a great start into 2020! I'd like to make the agenda a bit more specific. As mentioned in last years last call, I made the spec doc available on our github and lately added the missing paragraphs to `5.Relationship to Other Specifications`. I also added many comments in sections of the document that are eager to be discussed or long for attention. I think RC1 of the document might almost be there but we need two more efforts, namely Section 6.2 CvParameter Values for metrics needs more detail (and is closely linked with the creation of examples) and resolving the comments. Maybe we can go over the document and comments to find solutions and make concrete which examples will be created. Hi, Chris. I am open to a different day. Tuesdays will frequently see me start my drive home from downtown at 3PM, so 4PM could potentially be a tight squeeze. Wednesdays I have a standing meeting at 2PM at the office. Thanks, Dave -----Original Message----- From: Bielow, Chris <Chr...@fu...> Sent: Wednesday, October 16, 2019 6:32 PM To: psi...@li... Is there any chance to use Tuesdays or Wednesdays (same time) for future meetings or does that collide with your schedule? Hi, all. Mathias reminded me that I had not yet sent this paper around. We mentioned the value of mzML NativeID as a way to anchor quality metrics to a particular MS/MS scan. I argued that estimating "identifiability" for a spectrum was one use case in which this anchoring would be useful. Ze-Qiang Ma, a talented researcher I trained back at Vanderbilt, once published a paper on our approach to use our DirecTag sequence tagging engine to assess which spectra are most likely to be identified in a RAW file. While DirecTag is maintained code, the ScanRanker interface is not. Just the same, I am sure we could knock together a script to translate a .tags file plus an .mzML file into a mzQC JSON string.
