If I read this correctly, MS Convert needs to be on a separate computer to the data acquisition computer which Unifi is installed on. It then sees the data acquisition computer as a server which it can access. Have I got that correct? Currently, the data acquisition computer is not connected to the network (long story), so MS Convert is on the same computer as Unifi. I'm not trying to convert UEP files. If you have a UEP file, you must import it to a UNIFI server before msconvert can access it. Waters has not given us an API to read UEP files, only an API to access UNIFI servers. So you need a hostname and username/password, and the server has to be setup for 3rd party applications to access it. If you only have a UEP file and not a server, I can only suggest you ask the people who DO have the server to run msconvert for you. Hope this helps, -Matt C On 3/6/2019 12:13 AM, Matt Padula wrote: Hello. I am trying to get MS Convert to work with Waters Unifi but with little success. MS Convert can't seem to find the database, which it believes is a server, containing the files to convert when it is installed on the acquisition computer with Unifi. Although I have installed .NET, I suspect that there is another piece of software that needs installing to get it to work. Is there a guide detailing what needs to be done to get MS Convert to access Unifi files? My searching has been fruitless. Thanks for any help you can provide.
