I did some client/server crap for palm pilots back when those were still in use, but other than that, no. I just really hate the way my phone works and want something better. Hacker, write it thyself.
I'll try to bang out the javascript junk tonite, shouldn't take too long. Sorry for the delay. :-)

For something as trivial as making sure the user checked a box, I think JavaScript is fine.
I haven't heard much about Android...do you do much mobile device development?

I've just been super busy, but since I did assign myself a bug, I should ask a question about it :-)
The item I -should- be working on is the addition of a check box to have a game offerer acknowledge that they are responsible for bringing playing equipment. This can be done a couple of different ways and I'd like to know which you would prefer. The easiest way (for me) is just to use javascript to perform the validation, but I do understand that Spring has form validation as well, but I am not familiar with it. I'm cool with doing it either way, let me know which you would prefer and I'll bang it out (or pick your brain ;-)
After Thanksgiving I should have more time to devote to coding. I do have to admit that I've also
been distracted by Google Android, but that's not hard. I was looking into OpenMoko before, but Android seems far more mature right out of the gate.
Thanks!

I'm finally making some progress towards that alpha test! There's only one feature request and 5 outstanding bugs to go before alpha testing can begin!
This list is really quiet...if you don't have time to work on the project for now, that's absolutely ok with me. I just want to check in and see if there's anything hindering your progress? Is the code particularly difficult to decipher? Do you need help making design decisions? Please let me know. I'd rather spend my time getting you up to speed in the short run so that we can all enjoy better progress in the long run.
Thanks,
-Alf
