If the Palm SDK is the only think with DOS endings, then you just need to be careful with the /PalmDev mount: mount -f -t "C:\PalmDev" /PalmDev In fact, I recommend the Installation Notes be changed to reflect this. (Though let me first successfully build a Palm app before you believe anything I say about prc-tools and Cygwin...) I'm a long time Cygwin user, and I personally prefer binary mounts. So I ignored the advice to choose DOS line endings during Cygwin Setup. But I did have to mount /PalmDev in textmode. If this were explained well in the Installation Notes, maybe Ton wouldn't have to write a FAQ after all... :-) On the other hand, if there were a prc-tools-on-cygwin FAQ, I'm willing to research the "minimum Cygwin install", for those who don't want/need a full Cygwin installation just to use prc-tools. I'm afraid it's not appropriate for the Cygwin FAQ. Thanks to everyone for bringing prc-tools current with the latest Cygwin. I'm now hoping to become a PalmOS programmer!
