And as you can see i dont use fake_from I run into a problem i can't get the check working on an empty real_name to exchane it then with the email adress any help i also put in some error check on setting an Active unit is before Today which give now a error msg and stays unit is is corrected. regards Jan ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: GingerDog (gingerdog) Date: 2012-05-24 14:23 Message: Hi 1. I think you need to pass in 'fake_from' to Mail::Sender to do what you want - you can't to it to the normal from - as that's also used as SMTP sender. I updated vacation.pl to partly to the 'fake_from' thing today. 2. The end of the patch contains some rubbish (your linux prompt) thanks David. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=937966&aid=3529523&group_id=191583 |

Command output: Global symbol "$smtp_client" requires explicit package name at /var/spool/vacation/vacation.pl line 493. Execution of /var/spool/vacation/vacation.pl aborted due to compilation errors. The OS is 64 bits ubunutu 10.04. ,vacation.pl from the version before the patch 04/19/2012 Nikolaos Topp works well, it uses the same perl modules as the later version. On the other systems which are also running under OS ubuntu 4.10 64 bit it all works well ! question? which module ( requires explicit package) is missing for perl. i also reinstalled the perl modules again. Upon examination, the reason why it would not load became apparent, it is not a general rpm, it is aimed squarely at OpenSuse. Would it not be better to put suse into the rpm name? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Christian Boltz (christian_boltz) Date: 2012-05-02 16:30 Message: What is "SL6.2"? Scientific Linux 6.2? (at least that's the only one that makes sense - "SUSE Linux 6.2" (or was it named "S.u.S.E." at those times) would also match, but is from the stone age ;-) About your dependency problems: probably your distribution is using different package names. "pwdutils" is the package containing useradd and groupadd "mod_php_any" means mod_php* of any PHP version. Currently it means mod_php5, but it will also match mod_php6 "php_any_db" is (at least on openSUSE) a Provides: in php5_mysql and php5_pgsql - in other words: any php5_$database module will satisfy it Please check how those packages are named in your distribution and tell me a) the package name b) the output of "rpm -q --provides" for each of those packages As a workaround, you can install the PostfixAdmin RPM with rpm --nodeps ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=937964&aid=3521783&group_id=191583 |

Category: None Group: SVN (please specify revision!) Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 6 Private: No Submitted By: Christian Boltz (christian_boltz) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: XMLRPC doesn't support vacation start/end date Initial Comment: SVN r1134 (and lots of trunk revisions before) support start and end dates for vacation. The XMLRPC interface does not have support for vacation start and end date. Besides the missing feature, this might also lead to interesting[tm] behaviour. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: GingerDog (gingerdog) Date: 2012-05-02 16:00 Message: Christian - vacation.pl has already been patched for once/hourly/etc intervals... assuming you're referring to the patch from Jan Kuis (hopefully I can spell). Optional parameters... hmm. I can't remember what Zend_XmlRpc thinks about them; I assume they're allowable. David. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Norm Brandinger (norm_brandinger) Date: 2012-05-02 15:26 Message: I've just uploaded two patches that should help. There are updates to the squirrelmail plugin that are needed to take advantage of the new function calls. Have it working pretty well. Using http://www.ama3.com/anytime/ to allow the picking of the start and end dates/times. Will probably submit another couple of patches (one being to the VacationHandler) to remove the hard-coded 00:00:00 -- 23:59:25 setting. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Christian Boltz (christian_boltz) Date: 2011-07-30 12:52 Message: Adding start and end date means we have to change the interface (maybe we can use optional parameters). While on it, we should also include a parameter for the reply options (once / every hour etc.) - the patch for vacation.pl is somewhere[tm] in the patches tracker already. (We might need another function where the XMLRPC client can get a list of valid options.) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=937964&aid=3378893&group_id=191583 |

Category: None Group: None Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: wide (w1d3) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: Domain alias delete patch Initial Comment: Hi, in 2.3.4, only the global administrator is allowed to *delete* a domain alias, not the domain administrator - even though the domain administrator is allowed to *create* the alias. The attached patch for delete.php solves the problem for me.. but 1) I'm not a PHP programmer and 2) I have only limited knowledge of postfixadmin source code. So I ask for a qualified review.. Thank you. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Juan Augusto Rossi (pcekper) Date: 2012-04-29 17:53 Message: Hi, Patch looks good for me, I am going to apply it, it will be nice the check for the target domain too. Current verification in create-alias-domain.php if(!authentication_has_role ('global-admin') && !(check_owner ($SESSID_USERNAME, $fAliasDomain) && check_owner ($SESSID_USERNAME, $fTargetDomain))) { $error = 1; $tMessage = $PALANG['pCreate_alias_domain_error1']; } meaning that if if you are not global admin the domain admin needs to own both source and target domain. I agree with this policy, target domain should be checked, domain aliases are just for facilitating the config of a domain, mapping it to another already configured. I can imagine the following problem: domain.com aliased to gmail.com Any email addressed to domain.com, even if the account inexistent will be attempted to be delivered to gmail, this can be dangerous, I think it can generate backscatter. A domain catch all in a sense is similar but different, is a domain mapped to a set of email addresses, not the whole domain to another domain. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Christian Boltz (christian_boltz) Date: 2011-12-26 10:59 Message: The original idea is/was to allow deleting an alias domain only if you have permissions for both involved domains. It was never implemented with exactly this permission check, therefore we still have the superadmin check for it. Your patch looks good, but it checks only the "from" domain, not the target domain. OTOH, I'm not sure if the permission check for the target domain really makes sense - you can create and delete "normal" aliases without permission checks on the target side, why should we do it differently for alias domains? The only argument I can imagine is that you can't re-create the alias domain if you don't have permissions on the target domain, but, well, there's a reason why we have a "are you sure?" dialog before deletion happens ;-) What's your opinion on this? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=937966&aid=3447294&group_id=191583 |
