if passwords are encrypted, than the admin who wish to check the mailbox
for spam or misdirected mails, would be forced to enter the passwords, and
it's okay for that case.

the idea is for admin not to READ the other's mails, but to MANAGE
misdirected mails.
example - one of employee by impulse of her bad mood was to sent alot of
stupid jokes to everyones addresses - practically spam.

if there would be interface for admin to remove erroneously sent mails, I
think, it would be of great help.

I see two problems here:

a) technical: passwords are often encrypted in the database, therefore it
could be 
   difficult or even impossible to pass them to squirrelmail etc.

b) legal: In germany, you aren't allowed to read other people's mails, and
I guess 
   there are similar rules in other countries as well. Even if it isn't
forbidden
   by law, this would make it too easy to ignore the privacy of your
users.

what kind of support to PostfixAdmin??

I'd love to see the ability for admin of a domain to see/manage the mail
in any mailbox for that domain.
probably with squirrelmail or alike, but without intermediate additional
login/password interaction

mailbox_remover.pl will remove all maildirs and the directory above
if a user creates a mailbox with name like
*@example.com ( perhaps he has missunderstood the catch all mechanism in postfixadmin ) and after that he deletes that mail account from the database.

mailbox_remover.pl will now remove . and .. 
starting from directory maildri path, so all mailboxes get deletet and all other subdir in the dir above

heres is a small hack to fix it

 store maildir list to @directories

Thanks, I've made that change the linked file, in case people still use
it, and I'll look into postdeletion.  I see the attached file section,
there's just no buttons or links I see to upload anything.  I don't see
anything for doing it in the raw html there either...

I've modified this to add support for domain subdir style layouts, and
changed it so it logs to stdout and pauses before starting removal.  If one
wants, it could be run automatically just redirecting stdout to the desired
logfile, but having to comment out a line, read a logfile and uncomment it
seemed unwieldy...  Also, rather than trying to interpret usernames and
whether or not they included the domain, I just check the maildir entry
directly.

as I said, postfixadmin really needs to do this itself, but this will be a
good occasional consistency checker.

Although a consistency checker like this is needed, postfixadmin itself
should clean up after itself: whenever a mailbox is removed, whether
individually or the entire domain, it should make a tarball of the mailbox
in an archive directory and then remove the mailbox.  Anything else is a
security issue, because if you delete and recreate a mailbox, the old mail
comes back, even though it could very well be a different person.

All strings containing Swedish special characters in the sv.lang file in subversion has a question mark instead of the special character. 

I have attached a corrected/HTML encoded version of the file correctly displaying the special characters in the Swedish when Swedish language is used. 

Note, I did not do any translation as I'm not a native Swedish speaker, I only corrected the special characters which displayed '?' in the web interface.

In the meantime, vacation.pl has been replaced by the former
vacation-pgsql.pl.

I just checked the code - as far as I can say, this fix is included.

amsys and myself reformatted the translation files in the current 'svn'
version (i.e. it's all moved to unicode). Are you able to confirm if this

If a mail is sent to the vacation with an header to like: 
To: "pippo" <pi...@di...>

The vacation.pl will try to run sendmail with these arguments:

sendmail -t -f "pippo" <pi...@di...>

as you can see the arguments are incorrect and sendmail will die.

Hello,
 I have an qmailadmin console with working Qmail&Vpopmail&Courier, and now thinking about moving to Postfix&Courier&Postfixadmin

So, after some discovering in a new build system, I've found some missed features:
1) Alias and Mailbox managing now are together, so then U have lots of aliases with an more then 20 forwards, then too much scrolling to find smth U really need.
2) There is no integrated maillist system like in qmailadmin
3) There is no mailbox quota indicator that could show a size of the mailbox. 
4) Vacation could be edit from admin console, or not from user's console only.
