Hello everyone, This is just a quick update on the current state of Portico development. A few weeks ago we released the first release-candidate for Portico v0.9. It contained a number of bug fixes and made the transition from a centralised framework to a fully-distributed one without a central RTI. Feedback on this release has been good and it is ready to move to a full release. However, development on the 1.0 version of Portico has been moving a bit more rapidly than I first anticipated. This release adds support for Ownership Management and Save/Restore, the last two major service groups that were missing. Given the rapid progress, rather than releasing a full v0.9 with a 1.0 release-candidate shortly thereafter, we will jump right from Portico v0.8 to Portico v1.0. A release candidate for v1.0 will be made available sometime next week for people to test. After a sufficient amount of time has been allowed for people to report bugs and for those bugs to be fixed, a full "Portico 1.0" release will made. As always, if you have anything you want to discuss, please head over to the forums and let us know. If you have any bugs, either mention them on the forums or file them on our Jira instance (http://jira.porticoproject.org ).
