Portico v1.0rc2 Released

The second release candidate of Portico v1.0 has been released. This update includes a lot of work on performance optimization and a number of bug fixes. It is recommended that everyone get hold of this to give it a proper test as it is anticipated that the next release will be the official 1.0.

Portico v0.9beta1 Released

I have just finished uploading the first testing release of the next
version of Portico: v0.9beta1

The focus of the v0.9 stream has been primarily on performance
improvements. This has involved a substantial re-architecture of the
Portico internals, moving away from a client/server setup towards a
new peer-to-peer approach.

As it currently stands, all the services from Portico v0.8 are up and
running and working well on the new infrastructure. However, I would
like to emphasize that this is a *beta* release. Given the

Portico v0.7.2 Released

A bit late notice, but Portico v0.7.2 was released. This update contains some significant bug-fixes for the C++ interface and is HIGHLY recommended for ALL users.

Portico v0.7.1 Released

Hot on the heels of the Portico v0.7 release, we discovered an annoying little bug that causes updateAttributeValues (with time) calls in the C++ interface to be ignored. If you want a better description of the bug, see http://forums.porticoproject.org/viewtopic.php?p=497#497.

This update is _HIGHLY_ recommended for anyone who uses the C++ interface. I apologise for any inconvenience.
