if you're going to type in your mail folder name, then you'll probably want to refer to it as its fully qualified name. so if your mail store is named 'foo@sourceforge.net', and your sent folder is in 'Mail/sent', then the entry that you'd want to put in for the sent folder is 'foo@sourceforge.net/Mail/sent'.
it's a lot easier if you use the folder browser instead. you should just be able to click on the little '...' button next to the text entry area and then browse through until you find the folder that you want.
...there are also a few settings in pooka that require a restart, and setting a sent folder i think is one of them. so you might try setting the folder and then exiting and restarting the application. i've been trying to remove as many of the restarts as i can, but there are a few still remaining (mostly having to do with folder and store configuration; for instance, switching from imap to pop probably requires a restart).
try those out and see if they work for you.
