The only two eligible people from my list who have not confirmed their 
intent to complete are:

Please let me know if you still want to do so.

We did not pick teams last Thursday.  If you already have a team in mind, 
let us know.  If not, Prof. Dewar and I will choose them.  So far, one 
team has been requested.  The NYU1 team (our teams are named NYU1 - NYU5) 
will be:

> Christopher Harrison
> Christopher W. Quackenbush
> Jonghaw Lee

They competed together last year and requested their team remain 
unchanged.  I suggest that our NYU2 team (note the ordering means nothing) 
is selected from our freshmen and sophomore candidates (so that we can 
compete for the freshman / sophomore team prize:

> Yu Tung Cheng (freshman)
> Kevin V. Hung (freshman)
> Jacek Aviles (sophomore)
> Kristina Chodorow (sophomore)
> Daniel Colascione (sophomore)

The remaining 3 teams can have at most 1 graduate student.  The candidates 
for those teams are (plus the two remaining underclassmen from above):

> Michael Kim (unconfirmed)
> Mariya Lysenkova
> Chris Kirov
> Judy Feng
> Chien-I Liao  (grad)
> Gaurav Arora (grad)

Please send any team requests to me.

Since we do not have teams selected, we ask that each student select two 
problems from old competitions (in addition to the two we went over 
on Thursday).  Try to solve these problems and post your solution / 
thoughts to the acm list before Wednesday.

We only have two weeks left.  Dates to keep in mind:

11-4:  5:00pm practice at 73 Fifth Ave - 11b
11-9:  5:00pm practice at 73 Fifth Ave - 11b
11-11: 5:00pm practice at 73 Fifth Ave - 11b
11-14: competition
