First: please reply to the list, not directly to me. Your mail client's "reply all" button should do the trick. has...@ho... wrote: > Hi: >> Which version do you have? > I use verion 0.4.0. There is no MinGW support in 0.4.0. I guess it might work with MSys and autoconf, but that way lies insanity ... and dragons. Check out pre-0.5.0 (the trunk) from the PoDoFo Subversion repository and use CMake as per the README. It's easy. If you find anything unclear about the documentation please tell me, since I want to ensure it's as understandable as possible. Yes, that means you'll need to use CMake to build PoDoFo with MinGW. You could use Visual Studio with the shipped project file, but that's (a) somewhat out of date, (b) for an older version of Visual Studio and (c) is very fussy about the location of its libraries and how they're built. You'd also need Visual Studio. Given that ... use CMake. So... download pre-0.5 from our Subversion repository, and build that using CMake according to the instructions in the README. To do the checkout, once TortoiseSVN is installed just right click in some white space in the folder you want to put the check out directory in, then choose "SVN Checkout" from the menu. Paste in the repository URL, and change the checkout directory if you want to. By default it puts the checkout straight in the folder you're in, so you probably want to specify a subdirectory like `podofo-svn'. Now click OK, and you'll get a copy of the latest PoDoFo svn. Examine the downloaded README for where to go from there. Please reply to the list if you have any problems. -- Craig Ringer |
