Do you see already markers for violations? The report only creates a report, if there are violations. So you'll need to check the code first and then create the report....

This will be fixed with the next version.
You can test the new version by installing the latest plugin version from
https://sourceforge.net/projects/pmd/files/pmd-eclipse/update-site-latest/
