    Hi,

I tried the plptools with my Psion 5 and everything works great.
I can ftp to it with plpftp and even mount it at /mnt/psion with plpnfsd.

There is only one thing i can't figure out: How do you shutdown plpnfsd (nicely;)?

In the man it says to write the string "stop" in it, but if i overwrite the "----" with "stop" the file won't save (even not as root).

I'm asking this because i like to keep the Psion cable connected to my pc even when i don't use it and switch the Psion off.
The problem is that the Psion keeps switching on becuase plpnfsd (or ncpd) probes the Psion connection.

    Thanks.
    Wesly

Writing into this file doesn't mean
      renaming it ;-)

      It's that simple:

      echo stop > /mnt/psion/proc/exit

      -Fritz
