I have just applied some Makefile.am changes that affect how interdependent itk/tk/itcl/tcl/X system libraries are treated. These changes don't affect Linux (at least in my tests on Debian stable), but may affect Unix systems with tcl/tk. In particular the libitk/libtk ordering problem should now be fixed on cygwin (although the other issue of only a subset of tcl being available [subject to confirmation by Vince] is a tcl showstopper on cygwin in any case. The present changes should also squelch a libtclmatrix linking bug reported on AIX some time ago. Anyhow, those of you with access to Unix with tcl/tk installed (including unix-only parts), please give this a try. Alan __________________________ Alan W.
