Hi Jose, It should still be possible to build with the GD driver. I have done this relatively recently. Debian still (for now) builds the GD packages. If you are setting PLD_png=ON, but it is getting turned off this is probably because cmake is not finding some of the required libraries or headers needed for GD support. I suggest you look more closely at the output of ccmake to see what is missing. There should be a message saying why PLD_png is being turned off. I would suggest in any case that you contact the SCAMP maintainers and encourage them to also support one of the newer and better png drivers based on the cairo or Qt libraries.
