My system is "uname -a" : Linux ether.localdomain 2.4.2-2 #1 Sun Apr 8 20:41:30 EDT 2001 i686 unknown I am running RedHat 7.1 w/ XFree86 4.0.3 in 16bpp My solution has been to ignore the messages. But now I thought it would help to know this isn't exclusive of a Solaris system. Regards, Roberto |
