In bindings/f95/Makefile.am I recently changed plflt.inc: plflt ./plflt to plflt.inc: plflt$(EXEEXT) ./plflt$(EXEEXT) and this helped on Cygwin (and presumably will help on MinGW as well). Furthermore, if you look at the generated Makefile, this change makes the use of the $(EXEEXT) suffix consistent throughout the Makefile. That lead me to consider other noinst_PROGRAMS possibilities: software@starling> find -name Makefile.am |xargs grep noinst_PROGRAMS ./bindings/f95/Makefile.am:noinst_PROGRAMS = plflt ./bindings/octave/Makefile.am:noinst_PROGRAMS = massage ./drivers/Makefile.am:noinst_PROGRAMS = get-drv-info ./include/Makefile.am:noinst_PROGRAMS = plhershey-unicode-gen I have now committed the equivalent $(EXEEXT) changes for massage, get-drv-info, and plhershey-unicode-gen with the last two being the most critical (since I don't believe anybody has even tried octave on Cygwin). Arjen, could you check whether this change makes a difference on Cygwin for the --enable-dyndrivers case? Alan __________________________ Alan W.
