All this discussion about having mathematical extra characters displayed in PLplot graphs remembered me something. I always found that this would be a great improvement for PLplot and I am willing to implement TTF handling in ps.c. However, I am pretty happy with the current situation because it allows me to use PSFrag with LaTeX. For further documentation on PSFrag, see the excellent tutorial: /usr/lib/texmf/doc/latex/graphics/epslatex.ps.gz I find the pstex driver quite awkward and much prefer the PSFrag approach. I am attaching below an example to show you how powerfull this approach is. Just copy all the files somewhere and type make. You may also just look at the resulting PDF file (exp.pdf). Alan may be interested in applying this clean technique to his research papers, instead of waiting for a full Unicode approach. -- Rafael |
