Thank you Andrew, but: Isn't plend only be called upon destruction of plstream? And I call the plspause(0). Actually I found a way to let the xwin driver to handle the events via plcmd. I works fine now, but how can I be sure that the driver will NOT handle the events implicit? What about SetOpt( "drvopt","usepth=0") ? >If you are running on Linux you can now configure with the >--with-pthreads option which will run the xwin driver in a separate >thread so it will refresh all the time. Now I understand why the pthreads seem to do nothing on my system. SetOpt( "drvopt","usepth=0") will disable pthreads on all systems, even another user has compiled it with pthreads? Using this option, do I need to include pthreads in my program? thanks, marc _________________________________________________________________ STOP MORE SPAM with the new MSN 8 and get 2 months FREE* http://join.msn.com/?page=features/junkmail |
