I'm currently trying to replicate the example from the amcl driver from the player manual. Unfortunately, I can't seem to get it to work, ie. there are no red dots that fill up the entire area like the first picture from the amcl manual. What is the config file that would give similar results to the one shown on the amcl driver page? Also, how do you specify the initial pose of the robot to be unknown if there is a default that tells the robot it is at the origin? Regarding the initial pose variance, is the variance measuring the uncertainty in its position from the robot or from the origin of the map? Thanks Stephen |
