I'm trying to get player/stage to work on OS X. I'm just using my Mac for preliminary development and I'll never hook real devices up so I've not noticed before that there is no serial port. Everything compiles and appears to be running but communication then is a problem (error below). I'm not sure what needs to be done to get serial communication working. If anyone is using player/stage on OS X, I'd appreciate any tips on how to work around this. I'm using pioneer.cfg and trying to run randomWalk out of the box. The only change I've made is to add "port /dev/ttys0" lines because ttyS0 (capital S) does not exist. The error from player: ----------- listening on port 6665 ** Player [port 6665] client accepted from 127.0.0.1 on socket 5 ** P2OS connection initializing (/dev/ttys1)...Send: Input/output error ----------- The randomWalk client gives no errors. Many thanks! Nidhi |
