Konrad: Javaclient3 has worked for me with this 3.0.2/3.2.2 setup on Mac OS X. If you check this out: http://www.boinkrobotics.com/robotics/mapping.html you can find the java source code, etc, along with instructions on how to download everything and run it. I've tested the downloads and instructions on both Linux and Mac (for 3.0.2/3.2.2 AND 3.1/4.0), so if it doesn't work then your installation is probably messed up. If it does work, then it might just be the particular cfg or world files you're working with. Also, Ubuntu Linux is definitely worth it, since you can get aptitude packages for the latest Player, Stage and Gazebo without having to install from source (check this page out to see how: https://launchpad.net/~thjc/+archive/ppa/ ). Runs great in a VM, check it out. Elena: I'm not sure what the problem is, but I haven't worked with 3.1 and 4.0 on a Mac yet so I can't guarantee that my install tutorial will hold true on these versions. It's a good sign that the install worked, however, so it might just be broken cfg and world files. Try running some other .cfgs, or (not to push my own code, but it is verified to work!) try the project I referred Konrad to above. This project works on a Mac with 3.0.2 and 3.2.2, and also on Ubuntu with 3.1 and 4.0, so hopefully it will work for you, or at least shed some light on the issue. Wish I could be of more help!
