Hello, I have a problem with dc1394 for Firewire 4pin connectors in Player 2.1.2 The camera is powered by 12V power supply and it is listed in dmesg (connect / disconnect). When I launch Player server with camera1394 driver it gives an error in that it cannot access the raw1394. driver ( name "camera1394" provides ["camera:0"] ) I observe no such problem with Firewire 6 pin connectors. If anybody has a solution or suggestions please let me know. Best regards, George PS: I have configured the ieee1394 using 'usual tricks' that work with 6-pin firewire; that is to say (not necessarily in this order): sudo modprobe ieee1394 sudo modprobe ohci1394 sudo modprobe raw1394 sudo modprobe video1394 sudo chmod 777 /dev/raw1394 sudo chmod 777 /dev/video1394 2009/10/27 Moslem Kazemi <mo...@gm...>: > Thanks, Patric!
