Try fixing the source code by changing the line in the Stage_source_folder>libstageplugin->p_driver.cc "world->Update()" to "Fl::wait()" and then recompile and reinstall (meaning: $ make; sudo make install) and that's all...it should be fix you problem... Also, perhaps you are missing to export the STAGEPATH variable....(Read the setup instructions in the INSTALL file in the Stage package) On Sun, Sep 27, 2009 at 5:36 PM, clarksa <cl...@uc...> wrote: > > I skipped the LD_LIBRARY_PATH define part in the instructions so that > explains the libstage*.so.3.2.0 not found. > > I moved /worlds from the unzipped Stage 3.2.0 source folder into > /usr/local/share/stage (/usr/local is stage install location) > > Now when I run: > > $ /usr/local/bin/stage /usr/local/share/stage/worlds/simple.world & > > The Stage window starts but the window stays grey and my system locks up > completely - no mouse after an hour waiting to see if my pc is just slow. > Any suggestions? > > -- > View this message in context: > http://www.nabble.com/Ubuntu-9.04%3A-Problems-Installing-Stage-3.2.0---can%27t-find-libstage.so.3.2.0-or--worlds-tp25637180p25637885.html > Sent from the playerstage-users mailing list archive at Nabble.com. > > > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ > Come build with us!
