I am attempting to run gazebo 0.7.0 on Mac OS X 10.5 but am running across a couple of problems. So far I've compiled and installed gazebo and am able to get gazebo and wxgazebo to be recognized as valid commands. However, when I run gazebo I get this: roaming-195-212:~ Dylan$ gazebo /sw/share/gazebo/worlds/wheelchair.world ** Gazebo 0.9.0 ** * Part of the Player/Stage Project [http://playerstage.sourceforge.net]. * Copyright 2000-2005 Brian Gerkey, Richard Vaughan, Andrew Howard, * Nate Koenig and contributors. * Released under the GNU General Public License. using display [/tmp/launch-25vqpa/:0] rendering: [Xlib unmapped] direct [yes] RGBA [5 5 5 0] depth [16] server id [0] Bus error and when I run wxgazebo I get this: roaming-195-212:~ Dylan$ wxgazebo /sw/share/gazebo/worlds/wheelchair.world /sw/lib/python2.5/site-packages/wxgazebo/main.py:13: DeprecationWarning: The wxPython compatibility package is no longer automatically generated or actively maintained. Please switch to the wx package as soon as possible. from wxPython.wx import * starting server waiting for server ** Gazebo 0.9.0 ** * Part of the Player/Stage Project [http://playerstage.sourceforge.net]. * Copyright 2000-2005 Brian Gerkey, Richard Vaughan, Andrew Howard, * Nate Koenig and contributors. * Released under the GNU General Public License. using display [/tmp/launch-25vqpa/:0] rendering: [Xlib unmapped] direct [yes] RGBA [5 5 5 0] depth [16] server id [0] connecting to server opening simulator interface waiting for data but no display ever comes up. When I manually stop wxgazebo this appears: stopping server Traceback (most recent call last): File "/sw/bin/wxgazebo", line 6, in <module> main(sys.argv) File "/sw/lib/python2.5/site-packages/wxgazebo/main.py", line 238, in main time.sleep(0.1) KeyboardInterrupt Any help anyone can offer me would be great.
