I'm trying to get the irobot/create driver built, so I first tried to build from the CVS. There was no ./configure script so I tried to use autoconf. But I get the following errors: configure.ac:26: error: possibly undefined macro: AM_CONDITIONAL If this token and others are legitimate, please use m4_pattern_allow. See the Autoconf documentation. . . . (more errors) I couldn't figure out what the m4_pattern_allow suggestion meant. this makes a ./configure script, but then there is no install-sh found, followed by no configure.sub, configure.guess, etc I'm pretty new to all this, so I figured these where generic files and copied them from the working 2.0.4 directory. now ./configure errors out on line 1925: syntax error near unexpected token `DARWIN,' line 1925: `AM_CONDITIONAL(DARWIN, test, "x$darwin" = "xyes")' which is back to the original error I assume. Any ideas on what I did wrong? I would try to just build the create drivers under the working 2.0.4 system, but I can't figure out how to add a new driver and the tutorial that seems like it would cover it is still in a todo status. If this has already been covered on the mailing list already, but the search feature on sourceforge is giving a strange timeout error. Thanks, Chad |
