Pianoscribe is a Windows application that listens to a piano recording and turns the performance into a MIDI file you can open, edit, and arrange. It identifies notes, timing, dynamics, and optional sustain and soft pedal use without uploading the recording for analysis.
Choose an audio file, decide whether to preserve the performance’s natural dynamics and pedal information, then select Convert to MIDI. Processing load can be adjusted to suit the computer, allowing Pianoscribe to work quietly in the background or finish more quickly when resources are available.
Clean solo piano recordings provide the clearest results. The completed MIDI file is saved to a configurable location and can be opened in compatible notation, composition, and production software.
