It's still slated for 0.7. 0.65 is coming along but development has slowed down just because it's pretty boring. :) I hate to say it but it's just a bunch of cleanup stuff that we didn't cleanup in 0.6. > I would like to do it the way it is planned, so either you can use > my code, or I can merge back. great! > I am guessing a simple extension of the phplib class (Class Auth) of > user will work. right now in 0.65 we're extending Auth and Perm to replace the old method of authentication. I think Joe even had some code for the user accounts but we're going to wait on that until we can get 0.65 out and optimized. > So the sticky points start in with how do we handle psl_author vs > phplib user? I asked this earlier and the general idea was that the phplib user would replace psl_author. > It seems that at one view they are separate beast, an author/admin > may not want to log in as author/admin very time, but "become god" > while reading the site. They are separate things, but it's better if all the user stuff and the permissions are kept together. I think it's more simple that way and you don't lose a lot of functionality. Check out the CVS code and take a look at what's finished. If you extend that code then it shouldn't be a problem sync'ing it with phpslash. Hell, we'd probably use your code to jump start the user account stuff! later, ajay -------------------------------------------------------------------- Satyajot (Ajay) Sharma ss...@od...
