#111 japanese stories interfere with template

i submitted some stories in japanese (shift-jis
encoding). didn t get any error on submission or in
the story preview. but when viewed on the main-page or
as an article then japanese characters seem to
interfere with template variables or assignments.

i know that internationalization of phpslash is not a
top priority - i am translating what i need to by
myself - but the submission processing and output
should be able to work with any intl. character
encoding, do you agree?

the error looks a bit like:

...SOME-JAPANESE-TEXT-HERE!-- Template : VariableMORE-
JAPANESE-TEXT-HERE・undefined -->MORE-JAPANESE-TEXT...
