Hi,

I've installed phpOpenChat 3.0.0b2 and it appears to be running 
alright.  I'd like to customize it's appearance though.  Does anyone know 
of an English language translation of the manual?  I'd rather read through 
that than dig through lines of code without knowing what I'm looking for.

[PHPOpenChat-Users] Problems when create moderated chat

Hi *,

I want to use phpopenchat-3.0.0b2 for a moderated chat. I've installed the
system on SuSE Linux 8.2 System.

I create a moderated room and determine a user as the moderator for this
chat room.

Now my problems:

1.  Every user who enters this room, is displayed a text-box and a submit
    button "unlock channel". 

    If the user click to the button, nothing happens...

    It try to enter the password of the user: nothing happens...

    What could be the problem of this? 


2.  Where can I configure an extended logging for debugging purposes?

    The "//define('NO_LOGGING', true);" is uncommented, but nothing will
    appear in the system log or in the error log of the server.

Could anybody help me?

When a user registers it works fine except that on the register 
confirmation page i get the message:

Did you mean the headline on the homepage?
In case of, you have to edit the language files to change this head line. See 
define statement "WELCOME", to add something new edit the view-templates in 
/path/to/poc/include/templates/<theme>

Hi Bill,

the first time you open the "index.php" you will get a number, which is the
OP-Password. If you didn´t notice the number, try to upload the index.php
again and delete the mysql - database.
Tell me, if it works, please.

Second question,
The title can you change, if you be logged in as an OP. ;)

What is this message about and how to solve

[PHPOpenChat-Users] PHPopenchat v2.3.2 - What's new?

Okay, I downloaded the new PHPopenchat v2.3.2.  I checked the changelog and it has not been updated.  I searched both the home site and the sourceforge site.  Nowhere did it talk of any changes made in this new version.  Are there any major security fixes from version v2.3.1 that are now fixed in v2.3.2?  It would be kind of nice to know what was fixed...possibly update the changelog next time?

- Not trying to be mean.  I really do appreciate all of your work that you've put into making this great chat script.  I just don't feel like updating unless there are major fixes becuase I've heavily modified the way my chat area looks.

Hi Leute..
im SourceForge-Forum bekommt man wohl eher schwer eine -brauchbare-  =
Antwort..
Darum hier ein Versuch:=20

Also der Installer klappt IMHO net 100% (zumindest auf PURETEC!)!
Hab mal testweise das andere PHPOPENCHAT-Script mit =
Videounterst=3DFCtzung=20
auf meinen localhost installiert, da ging der Installer auch net, aber=20
ich konnte das Zeugs von Hanf in die Database bringen.. und auf dem=20
Localhost gehts jetzt.

Nur bei 2.3 bzw 2.3.1 (!?) gehts net..
Schreit trotzdem nach neuer Installation..
Also.. was ist zu machen, wenn ich das DB. Schema schon selbst von=20
Hand...?
