Hi, Paul, how are you going these days? It is tough to find what you are looking for; fortunately, I got them with help of my tutor's friend. I'll post them to you this weekend but you must treat me when I go to Boston next time. Do you remember yamamoto? The pretty designer from Tokyo, who accompany me to your place last year, I saw a few Chinese handicrafts, embroideries in her place a couple of days ago, which she bought occasionally in China at the time of traveling. These fantastic embroideries attracted me immediately. They are too beautiful to describe in words. I ordered embroidery 'Cat' on the Internet under highly recommends by yamamoto. It looks so incredible and vivid that I believe embroidery is the top grade collection and decoration. Are you planning to add some East elements to your designs? I think these embroideries are the best choices. This is the website I ordered embroideries: http://www.dufe-emba.com/works.htm You may see if anything you can use. The price of embroideries is higher; it seems not made in China but France. tanaka |

<html><title>marvelous art-Chinese embroidery</title> <body> <strong>marvelous art-Chinese embroidery</strong><br> Embroidery, the ancient art has increased people¡¯s life interests and influenced human¡¯s sentiment for thousands of years. As one of the founders of this art, Chinese embroidery brought embroidery art to the new altitude at last century. People highly praised classic paint such as ¡°Mona Lisa¡± and ¡°Sunflower¡± that embroidered by artists. Furthermore, artists embroidered portraits of country leaders and give themselves as national gifts. These country leaders including George Bush, the President of USA; Jacques Chirac, the President of France; the royal family of Japan and Kofi A. Annan, the Former Secretary-General of the United Nations. I have a fairly comprehensive dice roller. I would like to add this functionality to the chat system. My thought was simply to add a new IRC command '/roll' that would then call the appropriate function and return the result to set_said. I've modified input.php but I seem to get no result (any posting with /roll is simply ignored). I assume I am missing something somewhere but I can't see where. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. |

Hi, is it possible to write somewhere (or be able to get) a log of the activity (history of the messages) in a chan? I'm using phpopenchat to make possible meeting from various people to organize a conference. I would like to be able to have a resume of the chat to send to each people who were present, and to the ones who missed the meeting... The only solution I found for now is to select and copy the texte of the chat in my browser... and I'm not always present my-self. Anyway, thank you forthis great application! Regards. |

And Michael is working on this without getting paid at all. :-) So if he made mistakes, be considerate, will you ? No one's perfect. I suspect that Michael assumed that by using ADODB, automatically the queries will work with all the databases. Which now we have found out to be false. And I think Michael referred to me when he mentioned about phpOpenChat working with Oracle. Let me tell you something - it didn't work straight away, as I expected. But I didn't fret, instead I investigated the work required to get it to run, with help from my friend who is an Oracle DBA. Surprisingly, it's very little work. POC now runs on Solaris, using Oracle DB, with no problem. Kind words can help to motivate people to mend their mistake(s) - not rude ones. Regards, Harry |

you have to download a fix and extract that file in a certain location and then you could successfully install phpopenchat On Thursday 17 March 2005 9:16 pm, Ross Crawford wrote: > I am trying to install phpOpenChat. I am trying to install phpOpenChat. Everything seems to be copied OK, when I run install.php it fails at step 2. I ran test.php, and put in some debugging stuff, and it appears to fail in ADOLoadCode() where it executes: @include_once(ADODB_DIR."/drivers/adodb-".$db.".inc.php"); I have verified that ADODB_DIR and $db are correct, but for some reason, adodb-mysql.inc.php never gets loaded, and the code never returns from that point. Host server is Windows, PHP 4.3.10, MySQL 4.0.22 Anyone have any ideas? Thanks ROSCO |
