I made a simple patch that lets the user make the point in time at
which personal details are hidden remain dynamic to some number
of years back in time. In the General details section of
config.inc.php:
$years_hidden = 100; // hide details from unregistered users
Then down below, the restrictdate value instead of being hard-
coded becomes anything within years_hidden years.
$restrictdate = date("Y")-$years_hidden . date("-n-j");
To match your 1910 date, that would be something effectively
around a years_hidden of 94. Then users could set the
years_hidden to the eldest age of a living family member safely.
