Yes it was sent 4 times, but it took *days* to show up. I thought my=20 message was getting rejected so I had Patrick send it. Can that be done if cvs was already tagged version-1-1? 1.0 has been out now for 2 months, and only minor issues have come up (and all have been fixed). I didn't see any risk in just moving to 2.0. I'm only working on one template at a time so the main functionality should work. -C On Jan 26, 2004, at 7:03 AM, Bill Fenner wrote: > > I'd suggest creating a branch tag for 1.1, so that minor development > can continue to occur (e.g., what if a major security problem crops > up?). I'd suggest creating a branch tag for 1.1, so that minor development can continue to occur (e.g., what if a major security problem crops up?). "cvs tag -r version-1-1 -b branch-1-1". Bill |

Im already starting on 2.0 for CVS will be a mess for a month or more.. 1.1 is tagged, so if you want it, use CVS to get it. cvs export -r version-1-1 -d phpicalendar-1.1 phpicalendar 2.0 will only have one template, the default. We'll not have the color choices we do now. The goal is to make templating easier than say, phpBB. -C On Jan 25, 2004, at 9:06 PM, Greg Westin wrote: > Whoa... what happened to all the images? > > Greg > -- > http://www.gregwestin.com > Contact info: http://www.gregwestin.com/contact.php > > On Jan 25, 2004, at 5:27 PM, Chad Little wrote: > >> PHP iCalendar 1.1 is in CVS for testing. Does anyone see a problem with defining $bleed_time as $day_start? Or at least making that the default? It seems like that way, any event that will show up on the next day's calendar does, and other events are appropriately displayed only on the first day. Hi Chad. Attached is an updated version of publish.php. The bug occurs because the fopen() wrapper "php://input" was first introduced in 4.3.0, and that's what is used to read the calendar input. The changes in the update: - added more error checking, and warning suppression for feof() and fclose() calls - added support for enabling/disabling publishing by setting $phpicalendar_publishing to 1/0 in the config file. -dietrich Chad wrote: > Dietrich, did you ever look at this bug: > > http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php? > func=detail&aid=845351&group_id=62270&atid=500017 > > I'd like to have some better grasp of how we can make this more > accessable to older versions oh PHP, if that is the problem in this case. > > Also, we'll need to have it off by default if it is a security risk. > > -C > > On Nov 21, 2003, at 1:47 PM, Dietrich Ayala wrote: > >> it's mentioned in the publish.php file itself, and should be added to >> the general installation instructions. >> >> we should also have a flag in the configuration file to >> enable/disable publishing, and have it disabled by default. >> >> -dietrich >> >> Mike Traum wrote: >> >>> I haven't looked closely, but isn't publish.php a security hole, >>> especially since adding authentication to the calendars folder isn't >>> mentioned in the Readme? >>> thanks, >>> mike >>> ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >>> -- >>> Do you Yahoo!? >>> Free Pop-Up Blocker - Get it now >>> <http://us.rd.yahoo.com/slv/mailtag/*http://companion.yahoo.com/> >> >> >> >> >> >> ------------------------------------------------------- >> This SF.net email is sponsored by: SF.net Giveback Program. >> Does SourceForge.net help you be more productive? i should have time to look into that bug this weekend. if no directory security is implemented by the user, then the user's calendar files could be easily compromised. yes, it should disabled by default. -d Chad wrote: > Dietrich, did you ever look at this bug: > > http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php? > func=detail&aid=845351&group_id=62270&atid=500017 > > I'd like to have some better grasp of how we can make this more > accessable to older versions oh PHP, if that is the problem in this > case. > > Also, we'll need to have it off by default if it is a security risk. > > -C > > On Nov 21, 2003, at 1:47 PM, Dietrich Ayala wrote: > >> it's mentioned in the publish.php file itself, and should be added >> to the general installation instructions. >> >> we should also have a flag in the configuration file to >> enable/disable publishing, and have it disabled by default. >> >> -dietrich >> >> Mike Traum wrote: >> >>> I haven't looked closely, but isn't publish.php a security hole, >>> especially since adding authentication to the calendars folder >>> isn't mentioned in the Readme? >>> thanks, >>> mike >>> ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >>> -- >>> Do you Yahoo!? >>> Free Pop-Up Blocker - Get it now >>> <http://us.rd.yahoo.com/slv/mailtag/*http://companion.yahoo.com/> >> >> >> >> >> >> ------------------------------------------------------- >> This SF.net email is sponsored by: SF.net Giveback Program. >> Does SourceForge.net help you be more productive? Dietrich, did you ever look at this bug: http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php? func=detail&aid=845351&group_id=62270&atid=500017 I'd like to have some better grasp of how we can make this more accessable to older versions oh PHP, if that is the problem in this case. Also, we'll need to have it off by default if it is a security risk. -C On Nov 21, 2003, at 1:47 PM, Dietrich Ayala wrote: > it's mentioned in the publish.php file itself, and should be added to > the general installation instructions. > > we should also have a flag in the configuration file to enable/disable > publishing, and have it disabled by default. > > -dietrich > > Mike Traum wrote: > >> I haven't looked closely, but isn't publish.php a security hole, >> especially since adding authentication to the calendars folder isn't >> mentioned in the Readme? >> thanks, >> mike >> ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >> -- >> Do you Yahoo!? >> Free Pop-Up Blocker - Get it now >> <http://us.rd.yahoo.com/slv/mailtag/*http://companion.yahoo.com/> > > > > > ------------------------------------------------------- > This SF.net email is sponsored by: SF.net Giveback Program. > Does SourceForge.net help you be more productive? it's mentioned in the publish.php file itself, and should be added to the general installation instructions. we should also have a flag in the configuration file to enable/disable publishing, and have it disabled by default. -dietrich Mike Traum wrote: > I haven't looked closely, but isn't publish.php a security hole, > especially since adding authentication to the calendars folder isn't > mentioned in the Readme? > > thanks, > mike > ------------------------------------------------------------------------ > Do you Yahoo!? > Free Pop-Up Blocker - Get it now > <http://us.rd.yahoo.com/slv/mailtag/*http://companion.yahoo.com/> |
