Hi, It's really good to hear that things are going to be under development with changes that will make Timetrack even more useful. In regard to changes in the Customers and Addressbook relationship, you might also consider some linkage/discussion to the Projects module that is in development. This module also uses "customers" but this is internal to their sql schema. A link to this module would allow for more functionality accross phpgroupware.
