They are scalable the sizes shown here are just so I can fit them on a US letter page. Make sure you use a pdf viewer that support transparency or some of these will look pretty crappy. eb. |

Hey Mats, I have added your translation to phpESP as sv_SE. It will be available for use in version 1.6 RC4 and higher (RC4 may be 1.6 final). You can edit / verify your translations here: http://phpesp.sf.net/lang/ If you would like a compiled version to start using let me know and I can send it to you. -James On Thu, 27 Feb 2003, Mats Landstedt wrote: > Hi James. > > I have translated the template and now Im not sure of what to > do. > > Is it just to start using it or do you need to "compile" it? > > You find the text attached in a m$ word file. > > There might be so errors regarding the position of the sign. > > > Best Regards > > Mats Landstedt |

The third (and hopefully last) release candidate for phpESP version 1.6 was just released. This release fixes a compatibility issue with older versions of PHP, and hopefully fixes all the GNU Gettext issues. See the change log for more details. Please test this and report your results if you are having difficulty with translations. Download at: http://phpesp.sourceforge.net/ -James |

Developers, Would you consider putting id= tags for each question so that javascripts can get and put data to the forms? Javascript labels must start with alphabetical characters and the $qid's are numerical. This would help entering dates and times since respondents could just click a calendar icon next to the form and a javascript could display graphical calendar for the date submission. I've done this for mktext(...) in lib/esphtml.forms.inc and it looks like this: function mktext ($_name, $size = 20, $max = 0, $varr = null) { if ($varr == null) $varr =& $GLOBALS['HTTP_POST_VARS']; $size = intval($size); $max = intval($max); $str = "size=\"$size\""; $id = "id=\"id${_name}\""; // <------ new id tag if ($max) $str .= " maxlength=\"$max\""; if (isset($varr[$_name])) return('<input type="text" '. $str .' name="'. htmlspecialchars($_name) .'" value="'. htmlspecialchars($varr[$_name]) .'"'. $id .' />'); return('<input type="text" '. $str .' name="'. htmlspecialchars($_name) .'"'. $id .' />'); } eb. |

I have had the same problem. I also have the same output like the other guys. So I tested a little bit with gettext and found an interesting thing: It seams to me, that gettext ignores setting like en or de for the different languages. But if you use settings like de_DE or en_EN it works. So does it on my system. I just use it now with phpESP and its working fine. The output from your test.php is still like hakan76´s, but I can change the languages. I know that my commercial clients would not mind paying the 85 Euro for JPGraph. It is a very reasonable fee, IMO. So my suggestion is to use it if it speeds up development or delivers significant functionality. > Kurt, > > I agree with you. James: under separate email I've sent you the diff files for: html compliance, semantic differential questions, paired comparison questions, & reversal code. It was too large to send to the group & I wanted you to have some of the background of 'why' for the new question types. Rebecca |
